Oh it was most tiresome. I started work today in the city. Father has made me manager at the new mill in the square. He fears if I don't work I won't know the value of a dollar. I did happen to make the acquaintance of a young fellow in the mail room who seemed very enthusiastic about his work..and how I looked in my tailored trousers.
