Why do singers nowadays have pre-recorded backing tracks but insist on having background singers and in some cases a full equipped band behind them?

Why was Eve(the rapper) show called "Eve" when her character's name was "Shelly"?

Why was Ray J featured on early Moesha episodes as some co-signing flunky to others and later came in as her cousin/half-brother?

Why did the mom from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air turn from crispy to light bright over night? (Apparently, according to, the 1st mom she & Will were not getting along and he had her blacklisted in the industry, true story, she's in the new S2S mag talking about it with Fantasia on the cover, poor gal)

Why was Jada Pinkett(at the time) turned down to play Will's love interest on the show (because she was "too short") that role was later filled by Nia Long.
